Chief Executive OfficerLeticia Galyean
Leticia Galyean, LCSW, began her career with Seneca as a counselor in 2001. Since then, she has held multiple programmatic and leadership roles, including serving as Seneca’s Chief Operating Officer before becoming CEO in 2021. Leticia serves as a Governor appointee on the California Child Welfare Council and serves on the California Behavioral Health Task Force. She is on the Board of the California Alliance of Child and Family Services. She earned her master’s degree in social work at UC Berkeley. Throughout her career at Seneca, Leticia has led with the vision to strengthen the larger systems of care for youth and families, particularly those impacted by childhood trauma.

Chief Operating OfficerScott Osborn
Scott Osborn, MSW, LCSW, has been with Seneca since 1993. He has extensive clinical and administrative experience in providing educationally-based mental health services. Before becoming Chief Operating Officer, he served in a variety of roles at Seneca including as a Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, Division Director of School Programs, and most recently as Regional Executive Director in Alameda County. He has also supervised Seneca’s Institute for Advanced Practice, providing high-quality education and training to professionals and service providers across California and the United States. Scott received his MSW from the University of California, Berkeley, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and holds a Pupil Personnel Services Credential.

Chief Financial OfficerStacie Scott
Stacie Scott, MBA, brings a wealth of experience to her role, having served in various leadership positions including CFO, Vice President of Finance and Planning, Treasurer, and Comptroller. Most recently, Stacie served as the Vice President for Finance and Planning/College Treasurer at Beloit College in Wisconsin, where she spent seven years significantly stabilizing and enhancing the financial and operational performance of the institution. She earned her MBA from Rockford University. Stacie joined Seneca as Chief Financial Officer in 2024, and she oversees our Accounting, Payroll, Contracts, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Development teams. Her strategic leadership and innovative approach to financial management play a crucial role in supporting Seneca’s mission and continued growth.

Chief Strategy OfficerEmily Allison
Emily Allison, MSW, began her career with Seneca as a graduate student intern in our San Francisco Wraparound program in 2014. Since earning her master’s degree from UC Berkeley in 2016, Emily has held a variety of leadership roles focused on policy and advocacy, program development, and strategic initiatives for the agency. Prior to Seneca, she worked at the Center for Gender and Refugee Studies at UC Hastings. As Seneca’s Chief Strategy Officer since 2022, Emily leads initiatives that bridge direct service practice with broader systems change, overseeing public funding and program development efforts, communications, and public policy teams.

Chief Program Officer of Education ServicesRobin Detterman
Robin Detterman, MEd, started her career at Seneca as a special education teacher and administrator in 2005. She has drawn on those experiences to develop and expand Seneca’s education initiatives – including our Unconditional Education Model (UE) in San Francisco, Alameda, and Santa Clara Counties. Through her innovative work, Robin has ensured that our school reform efforts focus on whole-community interventions, supporting not only the students, but the classrooms, the schools, the families, and their neighborhoods. Before becoming the Chief Program Officer of Education Services, she held several leadership roles within Seneca. Robin holds a master’s degree in special education and is also a graduate of Stanford University, where she earned a master’s degree in education policy and organizational leadership. She is the lead author of Unconditional Education: Supporting Schools to Serve All Students published by Oxford University Press.

Chief Program OfficerMelissa Lawton
Melissa Lawton, LMFT, is a Chief Program Officer at Seneca Family of Agencies, where she leads programs that expand access to high-quality, trauma-informed care for youth and families across California. Before becoming a therapist, she graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and served as an Army officer, firefighter, and EMT—experiences that continue to inform her grounded, relational leadership. Since joining Seneca in 2012, Melissa has focused on strengthening crisis, placement, and community-based services through inclusive and sustainable program design. A proud graduate and former faculty member of San Francisco State University’s Counseling Program, she believes that learning from both clients and staff continually deepens her empathy and commitment to equity and connection.

Chief Program OfficerLauren Crutsinger
Lauren Crutsinger, MSW, served as a Social Worker for Child Welfare Services in Humboldt County before joining Seneca in 2009. Now the Chief Program Officer of Northern California Counties, she oversees our services in San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, Napa, Marin, and Sonoma. She also leads Todo Por Mi Familia, Kaiser Wraparound, STEP Partial Hospitalization Programs, Enhanced Care Management (ECM), and the National Institute for Permanent Family Connectedness (NIPFC). Lauren earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of the Pacific and her master’s degree in social work from Humboldt State University. At Seneca, she continues to experience fulfillment through opportunities to contribute to local and statewide systemic change across our public systems – ensuring better services, supports, and outcomes for children and families.

Chief People and Culture OfficerKimberly Wayne
Kimberly Wayne, MSW, has more than 25 years of experience serving youth and families and leading residential, educational, and community-based programs. As Seneca’s Chief People and Culture Officer, she manages the oversight of the agency’s DEI Advisory Board, identity-based employee resource and professional learning community workgroups, and language-related services. Leading this work for Seneca means reimagining and developing equitable practices to offer employees from marginalized communities a more inclusive workplace experience. Kimberly believes that when the agency’s employees experience the full benefits of an inclusive workplace, the youth and families served will receive more culturally appropriate and responsive services. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work from UC Berkeley.

Founder, CEO EmeritusKen Berrick
Ken Berrick has decades of experience providing individualized support to children and families, and driving policy change at the local, state, and federal level. He is the founder and CEO Emeritus of Seneca and currently serves as the President and CEO
of Just Advocates, a nonprofit that works to improve the family systems charged with supporting the well-being of children and youth. Ken has served as a Governor’s Appointee on both California’s Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission and the California Child Welfare Council, along with several other volunteer leadership roles. He is co-author of the books Unconditional Care: Relationship-Based, Behavioral Intervention with Vulnerable Children and Families and Unconditional Education: Supporting Schools to Serve All Students.
