Seneca’s Institute of Advanced Practice (SIAP) is our dedicated training center, offering high-quality, research-informed learning opportunities for Seneca staff, county agencies, school district teams, resource families, and a wide range of community-based service providers.

Training Registration

Approach

Each year, the Seneca Institute for Advanced Practice (SIAP) offers more than 1,000 engaging live trainings — plus countless hours of flexible, self-paced learning — through our online platform. We’re proud to be one of California’s leading providers of professional development in behavioral health, mental health, education, and resource family support. SIAP is certified to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for a variety of professionals free of charge through our Title IV-E contracts with multiple counties.

Seneca also works directly with the California Department of Social Services to deliver Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) Administrator training. The goal of our training is to ensure that STRTP staff throughout the state can build the necessary skills and competencies to meet the needs of youth who require residential treatment.
