Seneca Professional Development Overview Scholarships

Scholarships

An annual Professional Development Scholarship is available to all part- and full-time staff and provides tuition reimbursement for master’s degrees, certificates or educational programs in fields associated with work done at Seneca. It is designed to help with intra-agency and career advancement.

Seneca Professional Development Mentor Mentee Program

Mentor/ Mentee Program

This unique, six-month program gives team members at all levels the opportunity to be directly mentored by one of our top leaders or participate in cohort-based mentorship groups with other staff throughout the agency. The program helps provide inspiration, guidance, networking, and encouragement in their fields of interest.

Professional Learning Communities

Seneca offers professional learning communities (PLCs) of all types and areas of focus. For example, Seneca’s LEaD-In 101 professional development community is intended for future and current leaders who are looking to achieve the next level of leadership skills at Seneca. The LEaD-In process uses readings, group conversations, and individual reflection to assist in creating actionable goals for leadership and program improvement.
