Overview

Seneca’s outpatient programs serve young people impacted by trauma, anxiety, depression, and other profound challenges. Seneca provides a range of outpatient behavioral health services in clinic settings, on school campuses, in the community, and online.

Approach

Seneca’s behavioral health clinics provide outpatient and intensive outpatient services designed to meet a broad range of mental health needs. These clinics are designed to be welcoming and trauma-informed, providing a safe space for youth and families to engage in therapeutic services. Seneca’s clinic-based mental health programs provide a broad range of services, including individual, group, and family therapy; case management; care coordination; and more.

Seneca clinicians are trained in a variety of evidence-based practices geared toward addressing a wide range of mental health challenges, with specific attunement to trauma and attachment. Examples of evidence-based therapy models that our clinicians frequently use include Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, and Motivational Interviewing.
