Stronger Together: A Mid-Year Reflection on Community & Stakeholder Engagement

School Quote

By William Chiang

Our Unconditional Education team members are actively committed to learning, evolving, and refining our services to best meet the needs of our clients. Engaging our school stakeholders in feedback ensures we understand what we’re doing well and how we can better serve our community.

We appreciate the strong participation from over 865 teachers, support staff, administrators, and other school stakeholders. Here are some key insights about how our overall intervention services supported students:

  • 96% felt that the intervention provider(s) were professional and collaborative.
  • 90% expressed that providers were knowledgeable and skillful in helping implement classroom interventions to support students receiving service.
  • 84% of participants were informed about the needs of their students and the growth they were making with the Seneca Provider.
  • 91% thought that Seneca staff collaboratively explore racial identity by exploring racial identity, historical racism, and implicit/explicit bias and the ways these impact students’ needs and experiences in the classroom.

As we reflect on the progress we’ve made together, we asked stakeholders to share more about the successes and positive impact they’re seeing in their schools, classrooms and with students. The following quotes bring those achievements to life:

“I see a positive relationship being built between our Seneca partnership, parents and students. I feel like the students are excited to meet with their coach and are actually making improvements.”

“The teachers and staff at Seneca are truly exceptional. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for students create a supportive and engaging learning environment where every child is valued.”

“This year, the Seneca partnership has provided meaningful support that has strengthened both our school wide systems and individual student success. One of the biggest highlights has been the consistent collaboration and communication from the Seneca team—especially the direct support I’ve received.”

One of the most significant highlights of our partnership with Seneca this year has been the deepening alignment with the Unconditional Education model, which has been thoroughly integrated into our Multi-Tiered System of Supports. Rather than operating merely as service providers, the Seneca team has served as true thought partners, helping us shift our campus culture from reactive crisis management to proactive, preventative care.

I have heard wonderful feedback about the Seneca therapist from both parents and the students she currently works with. She has been able to connect with our students on a very deep level, supporting them with behavior challenges, attendance, and their overall well-being. She truly does incredible work with our students.

“I see real growth from all of my students who have had Seneca from last year and now into this year. Work completion, attitude, elopements, time out of class, frequency of big feelings, are all really improved. I truly believe the team effort between all levels of Seneca staff and classroom teachers is making a big difference.”

We are committed to using this valuable feedback, together with other stakeholder data, to drive ongoing program improvements and deepen our support for schools and students.
